Andy Garlick, a Past President of our club, provided great insights into the origins of the New Testament and how the various Gospels evolved.
 
Andy Garlick addressed our meeting elucidating on the origins and evolution of the Gospels.  His talk was done from an academic as opposed to religious perspective.
 
Our members found it very enlightening and all of us got a much better understanding of the Gospels came into existence.  Andys talk ranges from Greek insights, to a side by side comparison of some of hte stories of the gospels, to regional history and culture to showing how the Gospels were sculpted by the people that they were written for.
