Charter Night 2018

The Wyckoff-Midland Park Rotary Club was founded on March 17, 1959. On March 15, 2018, the Club celebrated its 59th year of service to Wyckoff and Midland Park with a great party at The Brick House. At the event, the Club recognized three sterling members of our community.

Paul Platek, our incoming President for 2018-2019, was awarded the Walter D. Head Award for his service to Rotary.

The Ken Norman Community Service Award (given by the Club to non-Rotarians whose lives embody Rotary's Motto of "Service Above Self") was awarded to Lorraine DeLuca of Midland Park and Patrick O'Hagan of Wyckoff.

Charter Night has become a premier event for the Club and our towns. Make plans now to attend the 2019 celebration next March!

Walter D. Head recipient Paul Platek awards his pin to his wife, Carmen, for all her support in Gift of Life and Youth Exchange.

2017 RYLA Recipients Visit Club
At our March 15th meeting the 2017 RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) recipients visited the Club and updated us on their experiences since attending RYLA last June. All of the teens expressed a deep gratitude to the Rotary Club for giving them the opportunity to attend the event.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership experience organized by Rotary clubs and districts where teens develop skills as leaders while having fun and making connections. The Wyckoff-Midland Park Club awards RYLA Scholarships to a number of local high school juniors each year. The selection process for the 2018 event is currently underway.
