Interact kids from our schools attended the 2015 Rotary Day at the United Nations

Our Interact students from Eastern Christian and Ramapo High School attended the Rotary UN Day 2015 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York city.

The students were addressed by the President of Rotary International K.R. Ravindran who spoke of the potential of our youth in doing good in the world.
Talks were also presented from Rotaract students and representatives of the Model United Nations initiative which has proven very successful in recent years.

The day provided a unique opportunity to meet with students from other countries.  Our group was privileged to travel with 10 Youth Exchange students from Brazil, Italy, Spain and other countries on the way to the event.  They learned about the value of being an Exchange student which hopefully some of them will consider doing in the future.
