Triathlon Organizers provide update on preparations

Today the coordinating members from the YMCA club provided an update on preparations for this years Triathlon taking place on June 14th in Franklin Lakes.   The Triathlon is a joint initiative between the Wyckoff YMCA and the Wyckoff Midland Park Rotary Club.

 

It attracts about 1,000 athletes to our area every year and is one of the most prestigious events that we have locally.  It also helps fund YMCA and Rotary activities that benefit the community.  The event is fully subscribed again this year and usually sells out very quickly once the registration is opened, as it has been for a number of weeks.

 

Preparations are well under way.   If you would like to volunteer at this event, please contact us at wmprotary@gmail.com.  You will get very close to the action and be inspired by the wide range of athletic ability and motivations of the participants.  It is an early start in the morning but you will be done by 11am and fully satisfied that you have participated in a great event and helped wonderful local causes.
