Rotary Interact held a day of inspiration and leadership training for students from our Rotary District 7490 of which Wyckoff-Midland Park Rotary is a member.

On October 24th, over 200 Rotary Interact High School students from our district received leadership training and inspirational talks.  The morning started off with a breakfast of Bagels and coffee to get things going.  Energy levels were high even for an early morning start and the hall was filled with youthful energy.

District Governor, Len Agrusti kicked off the proceedings addressing the students about the Four Way Test. There were various talks and group discussions throughout the morning.  Our own Interact club from Midland Park High School were very well represented with over 70 students attending (see photo below).

Our club were happy to welcome the students and the Allendale Saddle River club to our town for the meetings.   Our immediate Past President's son Geoff Garlick who is heavily involved in Rotaract, played a pivotal role in making the day a success.

The Rotary Interact club is an excellent way for young people to get involved in worthwhile initiatives and to develop excellent life training skills.
