Jennifer will be traveling to Uganda to help staff several outreach clinics in the northwest of the country in Masindi-Kitara.  She will be treating a wide range of medical conditions.  She hopes to learn more about diagnosing and treating patients when there is less technology available.  This forces a different way of thinking and the use of skills that are often no longer needed in the US.  However, this knowledge is something we can all benefit from.

Jennifer received a scholarship from the Rotary Club in 2008 (the club gives multiple scholarships every year to local high school students), and it is heartening to see her ever increasing desire to help others using her talents.

We wish her well for her trip and look forward to getting an update on her experiences upon her return.
