Brian Prendergast was at work right next to the twin towers on 9/11.  He had a unique perspective on events that day which he shared with our club members.

Today a hushed room listened intently as Mr. Brian Prendergast shared his painful experiences relating to September 11th and the days immediately following.  He provided some poignant examples of how it affected both him personally, his family and our Wyckoff community.

He was very close to the Twin Towers when each plane hit and spoke of being pushed forward and covered in dust as the building fell.  He played a pivotal role in the days following, helping his company switch from the New York Stock Exchange to the Philadelphia Stock Exchange and courageously returned to New York to secure important documents.

The talk was very personal and inspirational and took many of us back to our memories of those fateful days.  Brian continues to be deeply affected by the experience but it has spurred him on to work with youth in our area that is our hope for the future.

We thank Brian for his bravery during those days, for his sharing of his personal experience, and for inspiring all of us to make the most of every day and to do good.
